September 2024 International Foundation Certificate

The International Foundation Certificate is designed for students who have completed high school in 12-year education systems and do not have the qualifications to begin a 3-year bachelor's and students who either need or would like to improve their English Language ability.


Students can join either a 30-week Foundation, beginning 08/01/2024 (tuition fees £15,375 including accommodation) or a Fast Track 15-week Foundation beginning 29/01/2024 (tuition fees £9,225 including accommodation). More details are available on our Dates and Fees page.

How do I apply?

WorldStudentAdvisors will give you your Application Manager, who will advise you on which course matches your career aspirations.

The Application Manager will apply to Aber for you, helping you collect the correct documents, including certificates, transcripts, personal statements, CV and references. You will receive a "Conditional Offer" to study at Aber, and your Application Manager will support you in fulfilling any conditions, including the deposit. The next stage is to prepare a bank statement for tuition fees (minus the deposit) plus the UKVI living allowance, which must be in credit for at least 28 days. A CAS "Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies" letter will be issued by Aber, enabling you to apply for a Tier 4 Student Visa. Your Application Manager will work with you and support you through the Visa application stage. Your Application Manager will help you choose accommodation, advise you on the nearest airport and give you a pre-departure briefing before you leave for your studies. WorldStudentAdvisors always keep in touch with their students, and we have staff in the UK should you need any more assistance.

If you are doing this for the first time, it is a lot to take in.
