Studying art and design in the UK is expensive and sometimes beyond the resources of many students. What are the options for the students’ who are qualified to study in the UK but lack the financial resources? In response to these questions, World Student Advisors are seeking high quality local partners to team up with the aim to suggest alternative education routes for local students.
One of WSA’s partner’s is The Academy of Graphic Technologies (AGT) based in Nairobi, Kenya. AGT is owned by Kul Graphics and is located within their industrial compound. The environment and the ambiance is conducive for creative students to excel. World Student Advisors founder and managing director, Tim Hunt helped AGT start-up in almost 20 years ago, so there is a long and established association and understanding of AGT’s ethos.
In terms of resources and teaching facilities AGT offer, in WSA’s opinion, some of the best art and design experiences in Africa.
There are two clear courses of action: –
- Study one of the AGT BTEC Graphic Design courses and seek employment. AGT graduates have a high employment record.
- Study one of the AGT BTEC Graphic Design courses and use for entry into a UK university. By choosing this option you will have saved money by studying locally and continued to the UK for an international experience.
Here are AGT contact details.
